High-Livin' in Fairhope
Today was a hot one in lower Alabama, but my friends, Jami and Joanne and I wanted to see the Eastern Shore Art Association's "Watercolor & Graphic Arts Society" show over in Fairhope. Today was the last day to see the show. We made a glorious day of it starting with the exhibit. Joanne had two pieces in this juried show and she never disappoints...Joanne is an amazing artist in whatever medium she chooses. Two of her nudes from figure group were on exhibit.

Tonight I finished up a three part lecture series downtown at Space 301 presented by my high livin' friend and artist, Mary Elizabeth Kimbrough. I'm looking forward to her next series...and I don' t even know what topics she will cover next time. Tonight we had a nice crowd and M.E. and her cousin, Jessica provided fabulous pimento cheese (Jessica made the pimento cheese!), crackers, lemonade and the most delicious caramel cake (ME made the cake!) you have ever tasted! It was a "happening"!
Thanks to Jami & Mary Beth for picking me up!!!
